Our Community

This festive season, Novena is giving back to the society by brining cheers and help to the needy families.

As part of the effort, Novena has collaborated with the Ng Teng Fong General Hospital and Jurong Community Hospital by helping to furnish the needy patients’ homes with furniture. During this season of giving, Novena has helped provided furniture to two patients’ home to help them create a better environment for recovery.

Mr. Ravichandran can look forward to a better rest with the new bedframe to his queen-sized bed. The sturdy bedframe can act as a good support for Mr. Ravichandran as he recently suffered from a stroke and his mobility was limited.

Mdm. Amara was recently discharged from the hospital and Novena had delivered a day-bed and a coffee table to her sparsely-furnish house to help her with a better environment for rest and recovery.

Giving Back to the Society

Novena is pledged to provide 80 families with sparsely-furnished homes with New Novena Furniture.

This festive season, Mr. Ng Buk Hui, 63, can look forward to a more "restful" year ahead when he gets a new bed on 14 November 2011 under Adopt-A-Rental Block @ South West (AARB @ South West), a South West Community Development Council (CDC) programme that brings individuals and organizations to help uplift the lives of needy families and vulnerable elderly staying in rental blocks in the South West District.

The new bed will replace the hard board that Mr. Ng, who suffers from muscular dystrophy and is wheel-chair bound, has been sleeping on. He is one of the 1,200 elderly and needy families living in rental flats in South West district who will be receiving festive goodies through AARB @ South West.
