DELIVERY INFORMATION

We take pride in making our furniture and we will do all we can to ensure your purchase is delivered to you on time. All our products are packaged for safe transit and will be handled by experienced professionals.

Once your order is received into our warehouse, you will be contacted to schedule the delivery to your convenience but subjected to available delivery slots. You may also refer to the Order Confirmation emailed to you upon purchase for the estimated delivery dates. 

All orders are delivered during the following time slots from Monday to Saturday (Except Wednesday and Public Holidays): 11am – 3pm, 3pm – 6pm. 

Please note that it is your responsibility to check that your items will fit through doors, staircases and lifts in their packaging before you place your order. Product dimensions are included in the Product Information on our website.

MULTIPLE DELIVERIES FOR ONE ORDER

Our items are produced by a number of manufacturers; therefore they will arrive our distribution center at different times. If you would like your items to be separated into multiple delivery trips, additional delivery fee applies accordingly.

The disposal service applies only to like-for-like items (eg. the delivery of your new sofa and disposal of your old sofa).

Please ensure that the items meant to be disposed will fit in the lift / can be dismantled with ease; also, must be free from termites and bed bugs or any other living organisms. Kindly be informed that we do not dispose any heavy item above 70kg. reserves the right to reject disposal items upon collection if found unfit to the above conditions and we shall refund the full sum of disposal fee within 14 days.

RECEIVING ITEMS

On delivery, customer or 3rd party whom are appointed by the customer shall inspect the item(s) and the surroundings carefully before our delivery team leaves the premise. Any damages detected should be reported immediately to the delivery team to be noted on the delivery order. You will also need to email us at customersvc@furn2.com and provide a detailed description of fault and photos/videos showing the damages within 3 days. We will then reply within 2 working days. In the event an exchange for the defect product cannot be made, Novena reserves the right to offer a substitute or full refund. All replacement of item(s) will depend on the next available shipment. Novena shall not be liable for any consequences (whether direct or indirect) of the delay in the delivery of the replacement item and no such delay shall entitle the customer to treat this agreement as being repudiated by Novena or to any comparison.

All full refund due to defects will be refunded as follows: Purchase Price - Delivery Fee = Refunded Amount (S$). Customers who do not inspect the goods or surroundings upon delivery, accepts the condition as is by signing their acceptance on the delivery order. We will not accept any discrepancies reported after the delivery and after the delivery order has been signed clean.

INCORRECT DELIVERY ADDRESS

All unsuccessful delivery orders will be returned to our distribution centre and restocked. To reschedule for a delivery to the correct delivery address, we will contact you to arrange for the next available delivery with a restocking fee of 10% for orders valued below S$500, or cap at S$100 for orders valued equivalent or above S$500.

RESCHEDULING OF DELIVERY

Customers may reschedule the delivery with no additional charges with minimum notice of 7 working days (Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm. Excluding Public Holidays) before the delivery date (subjected to the availability of delivery slots). For re-scheduling of delivery within 7 working days before agreed delivery, Novena will charge a restocking fee of 10% for orders valued below S$500, or cap at S$100 for orders valued equivalent or above S$500.

NOT PRESENT TO RECEIVE DELIVERY

We dispatch small packages through our logistic partners and on the day of delivery, you will get a notification via SMS or call. If you are unable to take the delivery, you may choose to reschedule the delivery, get it received by your apartment security, or placed at your door step. If items are returned to our distribution centre, our logistics team will reschedule the delivery or process a refund, with a restocking fee of 10% per delivery order for invoices valued below S$500, or S$100 per delivery order for invoice valued above S$500. This restocking fee also applies for in-home delivery services (bulky delivery).

REFUSAL OF ENTRY BY BUILDING MANAGEMENT

Should the building management reject admittance of our delivery team, delivery will be rescheduled accordingly with a restocking fee of 10% per delivery order for invoice valued below S$500, or S$100 per delivery order for invoice valued above S$500. Customer is required to place any deposit to the building management for moving goods into their premises if necessary otherwise Novena reserves the right to refund, with a restocking fee of 10% per delivery order for invoice valued below S$500, or S$100 per delivery order for invoice valued above S$500.

UNABLE TO ACCESS THE ELEVATOR OR OTHER INTENDED AREAS

We agree to deliver goods to you on the understanding that reasonable access is available. It is your responsibility to check measurements to ensure your goods will fit in the intended areas. If reasonable access is unavailable or if it becomes hazardous (i.e. items prone to damage on narrow stairway, obstruction of passageway); Novena reserves the right to cancel the delivery. All items returned to us will be restocked and refunded, less delivery and restocking fee.

 

Should we proceed with the delivery in a non-hazardous condition, additional charges per item is as follows:

  1. a) S$10 per item per subsequent non lift-accessible storey will be collected.

DELAYED DELIVERY DUE TO UNFORESEEN SITUATIONS

  1. a) In the event of delay in shipment due to unforeseen situations, Novena reserves the right to reschedule the delivery, subjected to the availability of delivery slots.
  2. b) No specific time of delivery can be provided. A time frame will be advised but cannot be guaranteed.
  3. c) Novena shall not be liable for any consequences or any loss suffered or expenses incurred (whether direct or indirect) due to the delay in the shipment / delivery of the goods and no such delay shall entitle the customer to treat this agreement as being repudiated by Novena or to any comparison.

 

FREE STORAGE

Novena will provide 1 month of free storage for indent orders from the estimated delivery date. After the 1 months free storage period, storage charges will be at 10% of the item value per month.
